Depending where you live we are served well by public transport, well buses that is, the train station closed in the 1960s!
If you live on the route between Bath and Easterton encompassing Batheaston, Kingsdown, Atworth, Shaw, Melksham, Bowerhill, Seend, Sells Green, Devizes, Potterne, West Lavington, Market Lavington, Urchfont then the combined services of Faresaver’s X72 along with First Bus’ 271 & 272 will serve you well as they run a late service so you can have a great night out and still get a bus after we close. The 49 service from Trowbridge to Swindon stops in Devizes though doesn’t run very late buses.
Devizes local buses operate around the town during the day but generally cease around 6pm.
For Taxis there is a rank outside Barclays Bank and another outside The Pelican both in Market Place.
